Sacha Inchi (Plukenetia volubilis ), also known as “Peanut of the Incas”. It is originary from the peruvian amazon, and it has been cultivated and consumed since the Inca’s time. Sacha Inchi is easily adapted to warm weathers and requires of a constant water flow.
Sacha Inchi oil is an excellent domestic,industrial, and medicinal oil, very rich in unsaturated fatty acids (93%) and has the lowest content of saturated fatty acids (6.19%), surpassing the oilseeds used in the world for the production of oils intended for human.
