How to prepare San Pedro Powder
First, take 6 liters for a brew for 6 low doses (220 g of Sacred San Pedro Powder). Then, after the water begins to cook, you can add the San Pedro powder (calculate with 36.6 g of mystic powder per person which is the low dose). Reduce the heat to continue cooking and stir with a spoon. The preparation takes a long time to reduce the water and after approximately 2 to 4 hours, the preparation should be ready. Be aware that the infusion will thicken as it cools. When your preparation is finished, remove the pot from the heat and let it stand for at least one hour. Finally, prepare a container (a plastic or glass bottle).
We recommend Straining with a clean cloth, and will get 3 glasses of approximately 8 oz (round about 292.8 mg of mescaline for each glass), each glass contains 2 low doses. The San Pedro is now ready for the ceremony.
Keep in mind: always start with small doses, and keep experimenting gradually until you discover what works best for you.
Consider these recommendations:
- Try not to store it for more than 2 weeks.
- In case you are able to try it for the first time, we recommend you to drink half a glass of the preparation and seek more information before trying it.
- San Pedro preparations tend to have a bitter and unpleasant taste, it is therefore not uncommon for nausea and vomiting to occur after ingestion.
- Sometimes the effect of San Pedro tea can take 1 to 2 hours, in some cases a little longer.(accompany with a ritual of music, dance), then there is the extended period that could last up to 4 hours (silence is important to know your visions), then about 2 to 3 hours where the effect is decreasing.
